Your new content is optimized to drive more traffic to your product listing, and it is always strategic. Please keep in mind that any changes may decrease your sales rank momentarily while Amazon’s A9 algorithm assesses the relevancy of your content for your product, category, and subcategories, and indexes your listing for customer keyword searches (we refer to this as 'Amazon A9 auditioning') – this is normal. As the algorithm observes/records your listing showing up for more searches, your search ranking, customer visits, and sales should increase.
Additionally, we typically incorporate all keywords you are already indexed for, along with our new suggestions into your new optimized listing. As such, if you were previously indexed for 'X' keyword, you will still be indexed for that keyword after optimization, meaning the terms people previously used to discover your product are still included in your listing.
In the unlikely event your listing experiences an initial and temporary decline in sessions that coincides with our optimization, please review the following:
- Product inventory levels
- PPC campaigns
- Competitors activity (promotions, price changes, etc.)
- Newer Products or Competitors
